Chrome masking from bicycle frame

This is an additional option to powder coating a chrome-plated or partially chrome-plated bicycle frame. Please mark the areas of the frame to be left free with removable adhesive tape (e.g. masking tape). We will then mask the frame before glass bead blasting and powder coating so that the chrome area remains free as desired.

General process

1. Compile the order in the shopping cart
2. Order and pay
3. Packing and shipping the parts
4. After receipt, processing of all parts according to the order (we will contact you if you have any questions)
5. After completion, return shipment well packaged in your box

The processing time is usually between 2 - 3 weeks, but may vary in individual cases.

Condition of parts/preparatory work

• Bicycle frame parts must be clean and free of grease for any subsequent powder coating
• Please only mask the chrome area
• Do not close the thread
• Areas that are not to be coated must be marked / hatched with a felt-tip pen
